Dr. Jeff Poulson is originally from Mapleton, Utah and grew up with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. After high school, he lived in New Zealand for two years while serving a church service mission. Upon returning home, he studied massage therapy and worked in post-operative/injury rehabilitation in Utah and Colorado for a period of almost seven years. He taught massage therapy and worked with a plastic surgeon providing care for patients. A company merger gave him the opportunity return to school to pursue dentistry. After completing his undergraduate studies in Developmental Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver in 2008, Dr. Poulson continued his studies at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2012.
Dr. Poulson has been married since 2001 to his wife, Lori, who loves to run. They have two very active daughters. He and his family are very passionate about card and board games, soccer, running, camping and all things outdoors. They all love to laugh and find joy in life. He enjoys working with children and has spent many years in educating and teaching others, in areas ranging from Boy Scouts to physical health to soccer and church classes. He has become skilled in helping people understand things in simple ways.
Because of this, Dr. Poulson is focused on providing education and understanding as it pertains to your mouth and oral health. He and his team are focused on providing everyday understanding of how to keep your mouth and teeth as healthy as possible. Their goal is to help you understand and engage in taking care of your health and try to do this in a light-hearted and fun-loving way! Dr. Poulson loves to laugh and tries to find the humor and joy in life’s many situations.

Our dentist, Dr. Poulson will recommend how often you'll need routine checkups. Ideally you should see Dr. Poulson once or twice a year. We will examine your teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, gingivitis, and other health problems.
