Deb, a Brighton native, started in dentistry while in high school, before plastic fillings were used! She finished her Expanded Duty Assisting Training from the Colorado School of Dentistry in 1978. Deb places all of our fillings and final crowns, and assists with all other surgical and implant procedures. She is eager to educate our patients about our procedures and techniques, so feel free to ask her any questions.
Deb and her husband, John have 6 children and 12 grandchildren and love to spend time with them. Otherwise, she can be found outside with John, riding bicycles, jeeping, hiking, playing at their mountain cabin or traveling around the countryside.
Silvia, a Brighton resident since 2002, graduated from Brighton High School in 2005. She is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. Silvia attended the Colorado School of Dental Assisting in Denver in 2015 and joined Poulson Family Dental in May of 2016. She is currently enrolled at PIMA Medical Institute for the Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) program to further develop her skills. Silvia loves working at Poulson Family Dental and is very happy to be part of the team.
Silvia has one son, who loves dinosaurs. She love volunteering at her church. She also loves going for walks, baking goodies and getting to know new people. She has great teachers to work with in Deb and Dr. Poulson who are always helping and teaching her something new.
Christi Cook, BSDH, RDH has been a practicing Dental Hygienist for thirty years. She grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she holds a Faculty Appointment as a Clinical Instructor. Christi is skilled in providing all phases of dental hygiene treatment, from disease assessment, prevention, and education, to periodontal scaling, root planing, and maintenance. She has been described by her loyal patients as “gentle, but thorough”.
Christi is active in her profession and community, having served as President of the Metropolitan Denver Dental Hygienists’ Society, President of Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society, and Editor of the Journal of the Colorado Dental Hygienists’ Association . She volunteers with Give Kids A Smile Day, KIND (Kids in Need of Dentistry), and COMOM (Colorado Mission of Mercy), as well as several Weld Re-8 school district committees and PTA’s. Her favorite activity is going into the elementary schools to teach during Children’s Dental Health Month. She and her husband live in Fort Lupton and have three college-aged children.
Lori Poulson is Dr. Jeff Poulson's better-half. She assists Marianne and Marlene in running the front office but most of her work is done off-site and behind the scenes. She has worked in Front office positions at BYU-Provo's Registration office and their prestigious Law School. Her true love is teaching and working with youth, especially children. She owned and operated a preschool for over 13 years and loved that period of her life.
Lori's passion is all things running. She is a state champion 800 meter runner in Arizona and ran for BYU in college, both track and cross country. She is passing that passion for health and fitness on to her two beautiful daughters, who are both very active, and can be found most evenings at either a soccer field or a track/cross country course.
Marianne has been a front office assistant for over 30 years. She joined our office in the fall of 2015 and feels like she has come home. She is here to welcome you to the practice whether you have been a loyal patient for along time or are a new patient. She is here to help you with any questions you have regarding scheduling, insurance or billing.
Marianne and her husband George have three grown children and three furry children. Her rescue cat Lucy will come when Marianne sings Happy Birthday to her! In Marianne's free time she loves to look for old treasures at flea markets or antique stores. Her favorite movie is Love Actually and her favorite song is Sugar by Maroon Five.
Growing up in Colorado has been rewarding for Wendy. She attended SCO and finished her education at CNCC - Colorado Northwestern Community College, with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996. She has been with this practice since 2007, and finds it more rewarding every year. She love being able to help people maintain a beautiful, healthy smile!
Marlene joined the Brighton Dental Centre team in the fall of 2011 as a chair-side assistant. She attended Colorado School of Dental Assisting in Broomfield, CO. Her position has evolved into financial coordinator/chair-side assistant.
Marlene is a Colorado native and loves the fall season. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and exploring Colorado.

Dr. Poulson is focused on providing education and understanding as it pertains to your mouth and oral health. He and his team are focused on providing everyday understanding of how to keep your mouth and teeth as healthy as possible.
Our dentist, Dr. Poulson will recommend how often you'll need routine checkups. Ideally you should see Dr. Poulson once or twice a year. We will examine your teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, gingivitis, and other health problems.
